Abstract: Against the backdrop of the rapid development of modern pig farming and increasingly strict food safety requirements, Chinese herbal feed additives, which possess natural, safe and efficient characteristics had demonstrated significant application value Chinese herbal as feed additives had the effects of regulating immunity, antibacterial and antiviral, promoting growth and development, enhancing the body's anti-stress ability and improving animal intestinal health. This paper systematically expounded on the promoting effects of Chinese herbal feed additives on the production and immune performance of breeding pigs, piglets, and fattening pigs. Meanwhile, it was indicated that the active components of Chinese herbal medicine had the effect of stabilizing semen preservation at room temperature. Moreover, the article also analyzed Chinese herbal medicine's mechanisms of action and practical application effects in improving digestive and absorptive functions, regulating intestinal micro-ecological balance, enhancing immune levels, and promoting reproductive performance, with the aim of providing theoretical basis and practical guidance for the scientific application of Chinese herbal feed additives in pig farming.
