Abstract: China boasts abundant local pig breed resources, and the task of breed protection was arduous, and industrial development faced a long and challenging journey. This article comprehensively introduced the progress made in the protection of Shaziling pig resources, breed innovation, and industrial development. While analyzed the issues in industrial development, it put forward suggestions such as adhering to continuous conservation, germplasm innovation, standardized production, and brand building and promotion. At the same time, it was pointed out that the scientific protection and innovative utilization of China's numerous local pig breed resources wasan eternal topic.
